What’s your return policy?

Here on The Mothership we have a no quibble return policy. If you want to return something, you will have up to 14 days to decide if you want to return the product. As long as we receive the returned item within 21 days of receipt of your order with all packaging in tact, in exactly the same condition you received it, we’ll exchange or refund it, no questions asked.

The return policy on sale items is slightly different. Due to the items being on a limited sale run these products must be returned within 7 days to make sure that they can be re-entered into the sale.

The item is the responsibility of the buyer until the item has been returned to the warehouse. For this reason it is advised that extra care is taken to ensure that the item/s are not damaged as we are not responsible for any items returned to us in error.

What happens if I don’t like the items or they do not fit?

If you don’t like the item then just send it back to us and, depending on your preferences and stock levels, we’ll either exchange it or give you a full refund. Please fill in the enclosed form attached to your delivery note to:

Do I have to pay for postage if I want to exchange an item?

Due to the small size of the company we are currently unable to offer free returns (this also means that our product costs can be kept low), for this reason you will be responsible for the shipping payment of the return. If you wish to exchange your order for a completely different item you will have to pay an additional charge for the re-postage, in which case we will contact you on receipt of your return to process any additional cost. However, we will happily post you back a different size of the same item for free.

How long does it take to process my returns?

We try to process returns as quickly as possible, but, at certains times of the year it can take up to 21 days when we’re very busy so please bear with us.
